About Husky Hideout…
Hello there! Pete here, I created Husky Hideout which is, at the moment, a dog house building company.
I’ve worked at a few medium - large kennels and have now built around 80 dog houses for 150+ dogs, all of different designs with different requirements. I decided that its time that I made my own houses and put them for sale.
The idea is to provide an external dog house building service to tourism/racing/hobby kennels so that internal resources and manpower of those kennels can be focused back into their dogs.
A little about me… I’m originally from England but I haven’t lived there in over 13 years. Since last living there I’ve travelled around, spent 6 years in Australia and finally ended up in Rovaniemi, Lapland with my 6 dogs, 4 of them are rehomed and I suppose that’s where all of this began really, by wanting to provide a good life for retired sled dogs. I’m not sure where this journey will take me but it’s something I enjoy.
